Can i use Lucas upper cylinder lubricant and injection cleaner to solve the problem
There are many
systems in your car that could cause it to fail emissions tests. lucas will not harm your car but it will not fix the problem either. the emission test should give you a reason for the failure. you should be able to track down the problem with step by step procedure for that particular system.
is your check engine light on? any generic scan tool can scan the vehicle data to determine witch system may be causing the problem. could be as simple as a tune up or a faulty o2 sensor.
You wont need the canister closed valve just the purge controls remeber to tighten hose clamps as they low pressure test it.(they dont look for it) I know I dont
