I recently bought a 1998 Corvette. While driving, I notice squeaky noises in the rear trunk area. It sounds like styrofoam rubbing underneath the carpeting. I lifted the window/trunk and moved the trunk from side to side. The noise was prominent. The dealer tightened all the screws and bolts in that area, but it did not solve the problem. Any idea how to get rid of the squeaking noises?

Check to see if the exhaust is exiting the rear tailpipe. Could be a plugged up catalytic converter. Or some sort of obstruction in the exhaust system....

91 corvette backup light do not work also 3rd brake light ,bulb&fuses are ok.

I had the same problem with a 91 mazda 626. turned out that the wires that ran from the lights along the trunk and back into the harness were broken from opening/closing the trunk. i would check around that area first.

Locked out of Corvette

Hello If your vehicle has lost battery power, open the
hatch/trunk using the vehicle key. The key lock cylinder
is located on the rear of the hatch/trunk lid above the
license plate. Turn the vehicle key clockwise in the lock
That should get you in My dream Car LOL and Thank you for using Fix Ya Bear001
