as cars run DC power the polarity doesn't matter in a solenoid unit such as door lock if it has 2 wires ( power wire and earth wire ) Just reverse the wiring and it should work

wiring diagram for car or alarm? if its for the car you dont need one to install an alarm... you can do it out of common sence.... but if its for the alarm i have no clue :) i could search aroound if need be?... cheers hope this helps any further questions just ask..

Is your alarm a keyless entry type or just arm it from the button on the key?

Let me know, this is quite a indepth topic to do it so I would like to get the correct alarm system incase I give you the incorrect information.

try resetting the alarm its shut you out becouse the battery was took off, just reset it al will be well then

turn the key in the door lock a couple of times. this should reset the alarm. try the trunk also
