Hi, Yes it could well be a ground problem or a bad relays. Look in fuse box for relays and/or replace.. Good luck.

My 1988 chrysler new yorker is giving me a reading saying improper voltage what could be causing this? Ive tryd 2 different good batterys in it and i get a few miles down the road the battery light starts...

The warning light comes on if the alternator is not charging the battery. You can run for several miles on just battery voltage.
The alternator output would need to be checked when the warning light is on. Its very seldom a battery problem.

The generator or alternator light comes on when the AC and lights are on ,what shall I do? i replaced it many times the problem stil , the indicator gage drops to about 10 or less in normal operation...

Check ground wire and positive wire. Double check that the connections are clean. Have the altenator tested, because this is a sign of a bad voltage regulator.

What is the check gauges light

CHECK GAGES light (1) indicates a potential engine failure(low oil pressure, low coolant, coolant overheating) has occurred.
· Check gages and shut down engine. Gages should read as follows: Oil pressure 5 to 10 psi (34 to 69 kPa) at idle; Water Temp gage below 230 degrees (110 C).
· Check engine oil level (Para 2-11) if OIL PRESS gage indicates low reading. Check coolant level (Para 2-11) if Water Temp gage indicates high reading. Notify Unit Maintenance if levels are low.

If CHECK ENGINE light (2) is on, check engine oil pressure gage (3) and water temperature gage (4). If both indicate normal, proceed with mission and then notify Unit Maintenance. If either one does not indicate normal, stop engine immediately and notify Unit Maintenance

Chevy c2500 siveraldo 8cyl no passenger brake light/turn signal

This sounds like some wires may not be connected or connected improperly. On this vehicle the wire colors are: Brown=parking lights, green=right turn/brake,yellow=left turn/brake. You will have to drop the spare tire to get a good look at these.

My check gage light is on what do i do help!!!!!!!!!!

A "check gage light" typically indicates a faulty reading on one of the gages located on your instrument cluster. After starting your vehicle, observe your instrument cluster if one of the indicator needles on the instrument cluster remains all the way to the left or "pegs" out all the way to the right, it may be the cause of your fault. The exception is the coolant temperature gage it will take 10 to 15 minutes after which the needle should rise to a normal position. Correcting the "faulty gage light" will depend on which gage is malfunctioning. Once you have figured out which gage is causing the check gage light to illuminate, then we can proceed to correcting the problem causing it.

Break light....

There's a switch on your emergency brake that the indicator (on your dashlight) operates from. Sometimes it slips in its bracket and gets out of adjustment causing your dash light to stay on. Its located on the upper part of your emergency brake pedal. Hope this works for you. Goodluck.
