Testimonial: "thanks for the help now i need to find the location of the ecu on de car and de ecu relay if you let me know if you know"

the ecu is located under the center console. this is sorta tricky to remove only because of a few hidden bolts. you will have to remove the compartment behind the cup holders. below that there are 2 screws. you will have to slide the driver and passenger seat forward to get to the 2 screws on the sides. depending on the car being a automatic or standard you will have to remove the lever or the shift knob. there are going to be 2 more screws holding the top of the center console in. for them you have to remove the black cover piece that surrounds the radio ac and heat controls. be carefull when you remove this. the clips break very easy. same with installing. once all the screws are removed and everything is out of the way you should be able to get it out. once removed you should see the ecu. be sure to disconnect the battery. just to be on the safe side. there are 4 12mm bolts that hold it in place. (might be 10mm i cant remember pretty sure 12mm) and disconnect the clip should have about 10 or so wires going to it. from here your home free. installation just do everything in reverse order

Cant find the relays for the fuel pump? think its a bad pump but want to look at the relayes first.

The relay for a 96, can be accessed by taking off the right panel of the console, they are behind it. on the 95 eclipse its under hood, in the relay box, it should be labled. if you still cant find it. call any auto parts srore and they will tell you. have a good day !!

1997 mitsubishi eclipse gst wont start it looks that there is no gas,i changed the fuel pump, the air mass ssensorr , and some other sensors

Remove the bottom of your back seat. Turn the ignition on without cranking the car. You should hear the fuel pump prime for a few seconds and shut off. If you don't hear that sound, there are two relays on the right side of the firewall next to the master cylinder that are part of the fuel system. I had one go bad on me (the contact corroded) and didn't know which one it might be so I bought the cheaper of the two. Haven't had a problem since!
