What do you mean cut off, physically someone cut the wire harness off? Usually when installing a new stereo (after market) you have to get a converter that converts from the factory wire harness plug (the one what went into your stock stereo to the one that comes with the new stereo, you will of course need to wire them correctly together.

How do I wire after market stereo to 94 ford probe

check the radio stores as you may be able to get a radio harness to connect the aftermarket radio to the factory wiring harness so you won`t have to cut and splice, its just a plug and go.

Where is the 4 channel amp located in the 94 nissan quest.?I am trying to install a stereo and there is no sound due to the amp. I need to know how to wire with the built in amp.

I just installed an after market radio in my 94 Quest.
The easiest way is to buy a Nissan Quest Radio Wiring Harness for Premium Sound. It will have the complete wire hookups. You can also hook up the blue wire from the new radio to thefactory (I think Blue or Blue/White) wire on the harness. That will turn the factory amp on.Hope this helps ,good luck

My boyfriend is trying to install a cd player in my '94 cougar and there's this big grey wire thats taped up with the smaller colored wires. he dicided to cut the little plug thng off of the grey wire and...

Generally, the way I put an aftermarket cd-player in, is to use a new 'harness adapter' that connects to the old harness and has all of the wires color coded and labeled for easy installation of a new radio using wire nuts. I wouldn't try to cut into the existing harness, without knowing what was what.

What's the 'little plug thing' off of the grey wire?

Need wiring color codes to install a new radio

the easiest way to install a new radio is to get the wiring harness adapter for your vehicle it runs about $25 and then you do not have to cut the factory harness. the wiring codes will come with the new harness and is just matching up there color code to the new stereos color code.

Rear door speakers don't work w/ aftermarket radio in 94 suburban

You need to attach the blue wire on the stereo harness to the blue and white wire on the car adapter harness. they installed a small amplifier to power the rear door speakers and unless you connect those two wires then the speakers will not work.

Wiring diagram for 01 isuzu rodeo stereo

A few weeks ago I bought a new JVC stereo for my 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. I was advised that using a wiring harness would be the best option to install it. I spent an entire Saturday going from one store to the next (Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, Radio Shack, etc.) looking for the wiring harness specific to an Isuzu Rodeo but, to no avail. I searched several online sites looking for one and finally found it at http://www.beachaudio.com/ . The cost of the harness was under $10 and with express shipping I only paid about $20. Since I ordered it on a Wednesday night with 3 day express shipping, I assumed that I'd receive it the following Monday given any processing time and the weekend but, it was delivered to me just two days later. My husband installed my new stereo that Sunday using the harness that I purchased and it works great! Hope this information helps.
