Leave arms off until the wiper motor has been allowed to complete a run and park cycle.
After turning off wiper switch (and wiper motor has 'parked'), then attach wiper arms - setting their position to the normal parked position.

I have a 2002 Ford F-150 v8 triton I replaced the wiper motor twice the wipers working back words will not stop when down they stop up on the windshield I have done everything could be the wiring

Have you lined up the wipers properly on the windshield? There’s a small black line on the windshield that helps you to line up the wiper arms when you reinstall them on the drive spurs. That may be the issue. If you’ve changed the wiper motor and not messed with the wiper transmission, the timing could be off. If the wiper motor is slotted into the wiper transmission, it may be clocked 180 degrees off, giving you the issue.

I replaced a wiper motor on a 2003 cavalier. After replacing it. The wiper arms swing down before going up across the windshield.I want to know what do in need to adjust so the wipers work correctly.

The part that is attached to the wiper motor is in the wrong location. Remove the nut or bolt that attached the wiper transmission to the motor and remove the short arm from the wiper motor. Turn the wiper motor on and then off. wait until it stops moving. Set the wiper arms to the correct "home" position. Reattach the wiper transmission arm to the wiper motor.

Jaguar xk8 problems

loosen the nut at the bottom of the blades so that the wiper motor will work without moving the blades. cycle the wipers and allow the motor to come to the rest position. Fit the blades and tension the nut. Pull the arms off the windscreen and cycle the wiper motor to run until it stops put the wipers back on the screen and see where they are. IF parked properly then OK but if any where then replace the wiper motor as the sequencing gear inside is out of sync with the wiper action.

2000 BUICK REGAL MY WIPER BLADES (DRIVER SIDE) WENT OFF THE WINDSHIELD THE OTHER NIGHT. WHEN I PUT IT BACK IT DID NOT WORK PROPERTY WHAT COULD BE WRONG DO I NEED TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER?

i`m not sure what you mean by it not working properly i assume that you mean it goes back and forth like the passenger side, but it doesn`t clean the window and you put the blade on the arm correctly then the wiper may be damaged and you will have to replace the wiper blade.check and compare the installation of the driver`s side to the passenger side wiper and correct the installation of the blade

I replaced the wiper motor on my 1997 dodge caravan and cant get the timing of the wiper arms right..... info on how to do this??

pull the wiper arms off. turn the wipers on intermittent so they work once. then put the wiper arms back on in the down position and tighten bolts on wiper arm. They should then be timed correctly. Please rate my post.

The passenger windshield wiper does not work

if you have only one wiper arm moving then your wiper linkage is broken   i get used wiper linkages from the auto recyclers   to remove the old one you have to remove the 2 wiper arms   raise them up and slide the little clip out to hold it upright   either pry or wiggle the arm off  then undo the screws for the grill under the wiper arms while the hood is raised undo the bolt on the wiper motor etc.  replace the part and put everything back together   you may have to try putting the wiper arms on a few times until it doesn't hit the edge of the windshield and retracts down properly   $40 (Canadian) for used parts if you do it yourself  $90 - $130 in new parts  maybe $140 - $200 in parts and labor to have someone else do it
