Call the dealer with your VIN number, they will call the manufacturer and call you back with the code, alternatively, look in your owners manual in the front and rear page, some times dealers write them in there, also look in the radio pages they may have written there as well. Good luck

My Radio say SEC? I cant start radio
The sec displayed is security code in case radio is stolen it cant be used without entering the code. Owner may have disconnected battery and didnt put a memory saver in lighter outlet so it locked. If you go to dealer they can retrive the code for you then you enter code and radio should work.unless they changed the factory code. If not and code from dealer works keep in car or safe place so you have it. Usually no charge to do retrival at dealer takes 2 minutes. Hope this helps

Toyota ultima 1994 model cassette does not work
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Toyota service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

Do not leave key in ignition while doing this! First get the hood open and disconnect the battery from positive side. All doors closed lock or unlocked dosen't matter. Wait about 2-3 min.carefully reconnect the positive cable and tighten,car should go into combination of locking modes.Next your key push one time lock and hold unlock for 2-3 seconds or push the unlock twice.Locks should function properly lock to unlock and reversed.Normaly this resets all electronics to ECU.

SEC appears on the radio Lexus ES300
SEC stands for security, the radio is in theft lock you must enter the unique code security that came with the car when new to unlock the radio, this SEC is triggered whenever the radio losses power like a theft or a battery disconnect. If you don't have this unique code you must see the Lexus dealer, they can look it up in the factory information link, it goes by the serial number of the radio and the VIN or the car.

I removed the battery to charge it, put the battery back in the car and it imobilised the car, the key fob won't work so i need to know how to dissconect the imobiliser
you cannot disconnect the immobiliser.you need to reprogram the car to the remote.lock the car with the key,making sure all doors are shut,then press and hold unlock button for 30 secs.

My car wont unlock using the key fob, but it unlocks using the key.....
Key fob has a battery, may be dead.After battery replcement, has to be reprogramed. Not sure how to do it on this vehicle, may have to go to dealer and be reprogramed with a scantool

How to reset the check engine light on a 2002 toyota highlander. it happens everytime they disconnect the scensor tube to get to the air filter. thanks, susan
That means that the sensor must be replaced.

You can turn temporarily off the light by disconnecting battery for five minutes, but it will probably come back.

To fix it completely, take it to a garage and have the problem fixed.

Note: when you unplug battery you may be asked car radio security code afterward.
