Normal, its called air flow. When idling you rely on the radiator fan only, when driving the air is rammed through the radiator. as long as it doesn't clime into the red at about 90' when idleing you are OK.

If it's like mine It's your security system, try unlocking the doors from your keyfob, then start it. It is a security feature to stop people from breaking a window, breaking lock then stealing your car. it will either wait 20 minutes, or you must unlock a door from the keyfob or by using a key in the outside lock, and not by the inside lock button.

first, the 1993 cadillac deville should have a throttle body not a carburetor. And, I think it has ported fuel injection to each cylinder with a fuel injector for each cylinder if it's like my 1990 Cadillac Deville.

sounds like your transmission. also it could be the axle, which if it is, consider yourself lucky. you should get it checked out.
