Short of removing the headliner on my 2000 chrysler 300m, is there a way to get at the sun/moon roof switches?

The switches are removable without taking out the headliner. If they have never been taken down then it might be a little difficult but the switches shouls snap right out.

I have a 2006 new beetle had headliner replaced now anything electric does not work windows door locks trunk sun roof

Whoever did the headliner may have cut or shorted out a wire near the sunroof if it's electric. I would take it back to them, tell them what happened, and ask them to fix the problem.

Moon roof won't open on my 2002 bonneville sle

The motor and module is in front of the moon roof window, under the headliner. You can pull the liner down to work on it, but be careful not to pull it so far that it breaks. If the cables are broke or really loose, you have to remove the liner. Replace the regulator. Most times it is the module. It can be replaced without removing the liner.

Sunroof stuck open, think the switch maybe bad

I have same problem. Below are a couple of suggestions from LincolnOnLine.com on how to close the sunroof manually. The first relates to a '93 and I'm not sure about the second. Use this info at your own risk. If you get a better answer, PLEASE POST IT HERE FOR ME. Thanks. Mort

Here is the text from my 93 Manual. There is an access panel in the rear centre of the headliner if it is the same as my 93.

Manual Operation

To close the sliding panel manually, remove the roof access hole trim panel located at the rear of the moon roof assembly. Remove the motor and bracket assembly as outlined to expose the splined shaft of the moon roof drive gear box. Using a typical corporate door window regulator crank handle properly set on the splined shaft, crank the moon roof panel closed.

Motor

CAUTION:
It is recommended that the battery ground cable be disconnected when removing or installing the moon roof motor assembly.

Removal and Installation

1. Operate glass panel until rear of glass panel is flush with sheet metal surface.

2. Remove motor access cover.

3. Remove two motor retaining screws.

4. Lower motor away from splined motor gear and disconnect electrical connector.

5. To install, reverse Removal procedure and synchronize motor as outlined under Adjustments.

My interior lights flickers when I hit a bump in the road or just sitting still. What causes this?

I would replace the light switch, but first I would have a confederate
go around and jiggle all the door jamb switches while I observed the dash lights. Something is loose, often the brightness control for the dash lights is the culprit.

My sunroof quit working in my 2000 Chrysler 300M

First check the fuses, then locate the switch and use a test light to see if the switch has power and ground. If power is going out of the switch to the roof motor and it does not work it is probably bad.

Sun/Moon Roof won't close

hit the switch again while you have someone feel the relays under the dash in the fuse panel.... the one that is clicking needs to be replaced... your sunroof should be fine after that.
