2006 dodge caravan odometer light flickers and brightens and dims. Alternator and battery check are good, why would odometer flicker? Is it a transmission problem or computer problem?

It could be a couple things. Take it to a shop or a place like auto zone and have them test the alternator and the battery, its free :) If they both are testing as good, the next thing would be to check the battery terminals and connections. It simply is not getting the enough charge back to the battery for one reason or another.
could be a weak battery.. bad connection to battery post(check to make sure terminals are tight and posts are clean) if none of that works your alternator could be going out or the wires(connected to the back of your alternator) could be loose .
The regulator in the alternator is most likely the problem. The alternator could be charging.......just not correctly....... the flickering headlights are showing a varying voltage.......and with the charging light flickering too..........99% chance you need a complete rebuilt alternator.
Sounds like time for new battery, give it a full charge & have it tested, but have alternator checked as well, even though it appears alternator is o.k. because it runs, but just in case it's an intermittent problem with alternator
2000 chevy venture run good but my lights flickers and have to jump. After I jump the van and put my meeter on the battery its reading 14.volts at idle. I can drive around to store cut the van off come out it starts fine leave it overnite and it don't started.
