Here is the link to view the serpentine belt diagram for 4.7 Dodge Ram 1500: https://serpentinebelthq.com/2004-dodge-ram-1500-slt-4-7l-serpentine-belt-diagram/
A diagram should already be available inside the hood on the radiator support of the fan covering. If not, follow this link: https://skippingtheinbetween.blogspot.com/2017/03/30-2006-dodge-ram-1500-serpentine-belt.html. Basically, if the pulleys are grooved, the belt ribs ride on it, and if the pulley is smooth, the backside rides on it.
You will find it in this Dayco PDF document. It is diagram 7.57 on page 124. The vehicle is listed on page 40 (2006 Dodge RAM pick ups) with the reference to the belt routing diagram. Copy and paste this web address into your web browser and away you go.
(If you have trouble with this then open this web page below and click on the serpentine belt routing guide PDF to open the PDF document...............
it the pulley has ridges an/or lips the ridge(s) side of the belt goes around it. if the pulley is smoth then the back side of the belt goes around it. You shouldnt need a diagram.
By chance, have you looked on the underside of your hood, most, if not all vehicles have the diagram there, it should be a white sticker with the pulleys and everything.
