Check the fuses with something that sends current through them , sometimes they can be bad and still look like they are good . If not that then a short in a wire somewhere.
The turn signals and brake lights use the same circuit and filament in the bulbs. The tail lights are on the other circuit which comes from the headlight switch. Do you have power on the tail light fuse ?
Replace the turn signal switch. Bad contact inside causing a crossing of the circuits. When the turn signal is applied it should open the brake light circuit allowing for just the signal to work. Doesn't sound like the switch is doing it's job.
Check the window switch itself. First turn the key in on position and listen if you hear the window motor clicking. If you hear the motor clicking the motor itself is bad. If you don't hear the clicking the switch itself is bad. If more than one window is affected, the window switch is bad. If your right signal just stays lit up, get out of the car while it's on, and see which bulb, the front or rear, is not on. The one that isn't on is the one that needs to be replaced.
1994 jaguar xj6, I know of three location that the fuse box exist. 1. just in side the drivers door on the floor inside the front fender where your left foot could rest, 2. the oppsite side passenger side right foot next to the door jam below the door hinge front fender behind the wheel. the 3. is in the center consule where the tapes are stored, is there any other places a fuse box exist on the 1994 jaguar vandenplas xj6 thank
A lightening bolt means you have a blow fuse. There are 3 main fuse boxes on your 1994 Jaguar.
Left front (where your left foot is behind an inspection panel)
Right front (same)
and in the center console.
Most common fuse is the cigar lighter, make sure you haven't dropped a dime in there as it is next to the ashtray (located right front foot - 20 amp yellow fuse)
