You have to remove the console, put the steering column down, remove the complete dash to access the hvac assembly where reside heater core, blower fan, blend door(s) and recirculate door.
Around 15 hours of labour time by experimented person, plus the cost of defective parts.
If you're planning or thinking to do it yourself, I will suggest that you take a look on the following youtube accelarated video which give you an idea.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=leskZBor0_o&feature=relatedAs you can see, it's an heavy process. So be sure you heater core is really the root cause of your problem (leaking? odor? etc...)
If you're not sure and experiencing heating problem could be also blending door, recirculate door, heater control valve, bad t-stat, incorrect cooling liquid level and so on...
