Remove the splash shield that fits across the top (under the hood). You need to carefully pry the six bolt-style plastic clips off that hold it.
The signal lamp assembly is removed by releasing a clip which is located between the headlamp assembly and signal lamp assembly. There is a slot in the top to insert a screwdriver. Push down on the clip and the signal assembly should slide right out.

SOURCE: i replaced a turn signal bulb and it is still

It sounds like you have the wrong bulb in the right side which will cause the relay to heat too quickly and cause rapid blinking.

SOURCE: trying to replace front turn signal in 2001 chevy

to replace the the turn signal and headlamp bulbs, you need to pull the lights out from the front

to do so first you'll have to remove the plastic cover that spans over the radiator (there should be 6 push-in plastic clips holding it in, I use a wire crimping tool, but a couple flat screwdrivers or pliers if careful can work as well)

now, if it's just the cornering lamp that you need, then a large screwdriver or small pry-bar can be used to pop the lamp out

To see where to pry it helps to have a flashlight and look between the headlamp and cornering lamp, there's a clip that holds it in place, just pry against the clip [towards the center of the car, be firm as it is stiff, but if you just yank it, it may brake as it's plastic]

The clip should be around (though below) where the tip of the fender ends. The corner lamp should just pop out with enough prying

For future reference, replacing the headlamp bulbs you get to this point then remove the 2 bolts you can see the brackets the headlamps are mounted to, and they should then come out

Chev Cavalier 2003 only one rear turn/brake/hazard light

I have a 2002 Chev Cavalier that had the same exact problem. I replaced the bulb harness (purchased from a chevy dealership for around $5) which was fairly easy to do. I have had zero problems with it since.
