The switch on the brake master cylinder is FAMOUS for shorting out. Unplug it and find the blown fuse. In the fuse box under the hood, fuse 1.5 Your truck may be under a recall for that switch, call the dealer with your VIN number and see if it qualifies.
I checked and there is no recall on the brake master cylinder. is there not a manual way to shift out of park so it can be driven to be taken to the dealership?
There is a white button on the left side of the shifter that allows you to move it into gear. You first pop off the window switch cover and then you should be able to look into the hole and see the button. Reach in and feel around. Push it down while pulling back on the shifter. You can find pictures of the shifter for sale on eBay and elsewhere and you can clearly see where the white button is located.
