What can cause fuel to burn rapidly in a 2000 land rover discovery

I own a landrover disco 2 and even without problems it only gets about 8mpg.Try giving it a complete tune up.If it's a 4.0 like mine the upper left intake has to be removed to change the plug wires.DIY will run you about 150$ just to change the plug wires with a new Upper Intake gasket!

How do I swap the front seat bolsters over in a series 2 land rover discovery?

You should be able to detach the front seat bolsters by removing the seat, undoing the trim and flipping the seat over. Underneath there are a load of clips that when released should free the seat off. There are 12 hog rings holding the cover to the cushion. The rear edge is bonded to the seat frame though.

Problem with electronic hand brake screeching and showing an error on the display on my LR3 land rover discovery 3 , 2004 discovery 3 2.7 TDv6 HSE, its out of warranty (have done 22,000 miles) and have...

Just had this same issue with my 57 plate Discovery SE - great guy from the AA took the small plate off that sits immediately to the rear of the hanbrake button in the central console - he then hooked a wire around the cable you see in there and gave it a mighty tug. The result is that my brake is now disengaged (rather than stuck-on as before) and LR will need to cure the source of the problem under warranty. Car is automatic so can use "park" until full repair.
