I'm trying to remove the rear seat in a 2000 cadillac deville but can't find the bolts to remove the back support. I was able to get the bench out but not the back. Can you please help?

To get at the speaker, you need to remove the rear window shelf trim panel -
Remove rear seat lower by lifting from front;
Remove bolts holding rear seat back and remove seat back; Remove the seat belt retractors;
Remove the push in retainers from the cross car beam;
Lift up on the front of the shelf panel to disengage the hook and loop material; then do the same at the rear of the panel, and pull out the shelf.
The speaker is now accessible for removal.

To remove the back seat,simply grab the front of the seat with both hands underneath and pull straight upwards, this releases the spring clips, no bolts or screws to remove.
If it is the same as the Cadillac Seville, simply grab the front of the seat with both hands underneath and pull straight upwards, this releases the spring clips, no bolts or screws to remove.
Its on passenger side under rear seat cushion. Get in back seat FACING rear seatback, grab under lip of bottom seat cushion, and pull straight up. Disconnect seat heater connector (if so equipped) on passenger side and remove seat bottom. Tada! There ya go! Oh... btw. Its a $150 battery due to the venting system designed into it to vent fumes through a tube to the outside world. Thanks Cadillac!!! :(
it is not designed to be removed. It is designed to slide back and forth as needed.

Remove the center seat(s) if equipped. Refer to the procedure in this section.
Slide the bench seat forward to the center row seating position.
Use a flat-blade screwdriver to remove the cover caps from the front of the rear seat cushion latch cover.
Remove the two rear seat bolts from the front of the rear seat cushion latch cover.
Lift the rear seat cushion floor cover on the back of the rear bench seat and remove the two inboard rear seat bolts and the two outboard rear seat bolts.
Remove the bench seat from the vehicle through the body side door opening.
There is a single bolt about half way across the bench between the seat backs and the bench. You'll need a 12MM socket to remove this bolt. Once that is done, pull up on the bench about 12" in from each side, there are two pressure clips that will pop out of there moorings and the seat is out.
