So the air bag light has been on for months and the wife is upset that i havent gotten it fixed. No one has been able to tell me whats wrong and how to fix it. Only that I have to take it to a dealer? Is that correct? They say it could be a cost of over $200 and if its wiring messed up even more? 2001 Hyundai Sonata

Im sorry but if your not up on air bag systems the dealer is your safest bet. 200 hundred may sound like alot but if you mess up the cost of the air bags and the damage they do when they deploy is unbelieveable. to the bright side your air bags may not work but they wont go off on theyre own

How to reset the air bag light grand vitara suzuki

no year stated, now that IS a challenge, no?
you cant.
you could pull the battery neg lug and count to 10, put back
but that invites more problems.
what you do is, buy the scan tool that supports, air bags.
most dont
then push reset
but the air bags already reset ever time you key on.
so..... what do you mean how to reset bag light.

we scan it, first.
see why the brain is upset, and then read the manual
ever seen that a book
here.
the book is here.
https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Category/3-suzuki-service-manuals.aspx

dont play with them or the yellow wires, or boom, neck snap time
and now on 6pm TV.
dont play with air bags, learn the service first. and live.

Air bag light will not go out

Hello Kathy,

Your Air Bag Light staying on is a warning that the system needs to be checked.

Some vehicles have a key actuated switch that controls passenger bag deployment, which is illuminated when active but instrument panel displays are a warning to the driver that something is wrong..

Check your owners manual for the complete details on the Air Bag System.

Air bag light fault on mazda bt50 whats wrong

I have been taking mine to the dealer to be fixed for FIVE YEARS. Only in year 4 did they tell me that it is a manufacturing fault, something to do with communications between the unit and the I-don't-know-what (I'm female, pardon my ignorance). They still haven't gotten it right and my solution to this problem is that I will NEVER purchase a Mazda or Ford again, the after sales service is a shocker.

2001 Sonata Air bag light has been on for months. Does that mean the bag won't inflate and where might the problem be?

Could be several causes... but the result is consistent - when the light is on the air bag is disabled

The motion sensor board has a failure - or one of the crash sensors has failed - so the motions sensor board is not receiving the desired signal. To prevent an accidential firing of the bag, the system disables the airbag and turns on the light....

My air bag light is on. What is the usual diagnosis?

For a smog inspection you can still pass if your air bag light is on. Its the check engine light that will fail you

Airbag light is on.

Please go to thisweb site and they will tell you how to figure out what is wrong with air bag system, the computer or clock spring or other problems could cause the air bag to deploy. http://www.airbagsolutions.com/contact.aspx do not touch this without asking them becuase if you touch the wrong wires you can deploy the air bag.

Daewoo nubira - oil and air bag light problem

For your oil lamp, I will suggest you quickly attend to this as it may be telling you that there is not enough pressure in the system as the light will only turn off when there is enough pressure in the lubrication system. It might be a foulty oil pressure switch.
For your air bag, it might be just the passenger air bag module which hasn't been reconnected or a disconnected loom?
I'll suggest you bring it back to the electrician who's installed your A/C and let them fix it.
Cheers.

Air bag light stays on

I just got a letter in the mail from Pontiac saying that if the air bag light is staying on then the air bag sensor, which is on the passenger side, may be bad.If any water has touched the sensor, that may be the cause of the light to be on.They also said that if it's on than your air bag can deploy at any time.Even if you haven't gotten into an acccident.I have the same problem and I am looking into the sensor for the air bag.You should do the same.Hope this helps you.
