My 2000 lexus es300 bucks everytime i put the car into drive. it doesnt do it when you put it in reverse. i also noticed that the transmission has too much fluid. it only bucks when the car starts to get hot. when its cold, you dont feel it as much. some people told me motor mounts, some told me other things. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Why won't My 2000 Lexus es300 go into reverse or neutral?

Probably the stick that control your transmission has moved. It's not sync. I recommend that you take it to a specialist.

My Lexus es300 wont drive when put into reverse or drive. Could this be because of transmission/ bad solenoid or could it have something to do with bad ABS sensor?

There are so many things it could be, but I think I would have it towed to a competent shop and check the diagnostics. More info might help you get more DIY help. Running rough... engine diagnostics, transmission not engaging... transmission diagnostics. Electronic diagnostics are your eyes on modern automobile problems. I hope this helps.

My lexus es300 will not move when its in drive or reverse?

Smell the transmission fluid on the dipstick. Id it smells burnt or is a very dark red then there's trouble inside the transmission. The filter may need to be replaced too. There are a lot of reasons why a transmission won't go into gear. It's impossible to troubleshoot here.

Shift lever repair

Most likely the shift cable that connects the shifter to the transmission if you can find where it connects to the transmission check there first sometimes they can get disconnected. then if your shifter is in the center console take the cover off and make sure shifter is still connected to cable. If that's not the problem and the cable is moving at the transmission then it's a problem inside the transmission

1993 lexus ES300 will not go when in drive

sounds like you have a major transmission problem. expect a big repair bill sorry!! if they deem the transmission to be shot, look online for a used or remanufactured transmission and see if it would be cheaper to replace than repair. I have a 1995 jaguar that would go in reverse but not in drive, cost to repair: $2700 cost for used transmission: $1000 and i put it in myself. had i not it probably would have been $1500-1700 but thats still a big savings. good luck and again sorry!

2000 es300, sometimes surges - last time it seem to lose power could only drive about 20 miles per hour

Check for failed EGR Valve or system component

If the valve has a vacuum hose going to it ,disconnect,
plug hose & test drive to evaluate bad valve & high vacuum
signal as you suggested
