The brake light switch itself is located on the brake pedal follow it down until you see where it connects and unplug the connection ...after installation make sure the brake light switch is correctly adjusted by having a 2nd person stand behind the vehicle as you press the pedal the light should come on if not adjust the switch higher up by turning the switch inward ..or upwards by screwing it in if it constantly on unscrew it until lights go out and its fairly easy once you actually look at the part and the pedal ...i hope that helps you

Look at top of brake pedal, you should see the switch there. It can easily be unplugged and has little plastic nut that can be removed and switch comes off.

SOURCE: Replace 2005 Cadillac CTS water pump

drain the coolant.remove belt by rotating belt tensioner cllockwise. water pump pulley will require a holding tool to keep it from turning while removing bolts. access to air ratchet can sometimes eliminate the need to hold but be careful cause thats a good way to skin some knuckles. also make installation more difficult to obtain proper torque. after pulley is off just a few water pupm mounting bolts remain. clean and dry gasket surface very well before reinstalling.

How do you reset the low coolant light on a 2005 cadillac cts

If your level sensor is anything like the Seville, there's a magnetic float in the reservoir and a reed switch snapped into a receptacle in the bottom of the reservoir. Either the float sticks in the up position (it only travels 5/8") due to sludge buildup or the reed switch/connector/wiring has failed.

Here's a picture of the bottom of a 2000+ Seville reservoir. You can just make out the green float above the 2-pin level sensor connector.

How to change a license plate bulb on a Cadillac Cts

Yep this answer is correct!! Remove the panel on the inside of the trunk, remove 8 10mm nuts, carefully pull of entire light assembly, and you will see the tag light bulb carrier. Turn it to the unlock position, and replace the peanut style bulbs, they just pull out of the socket.

My cadillac cts 04 the break lights wont turn off. i already changed the break light switch im thinking its the fuse. wats the name of this fuse and were do i find it? any help is good thank you

Hello. Under your brake pedal is a switch with a plunger on, that activates your lights when depressed. Just follow up along the pedal and you will see (probably) a white switch. It sounds like the plunger switch is stuck in. These are quite cheap to replace and you might be able to prise the plunger switch out to turn the brake lights off. If it was a fuse it would not work. Can you leave feedback if this helps. Thanks

My brake lights are off in my 2005 Cadillac CTS. Jiffy Lube says only the Dealer can change. Is he right?

stay away from dealers at all cost because it will cost you out the a--. sounds like the brake light switch usually connected to the brakepedal autozone can usually tell you where a part is located.
