I purchased a 2006 Toyota Corolla this past June, and I love it. A light came on this morning, and I don't know what it's a picture of. It's on the far left, and it's not the maintenance light. I'm wondering if perhaps it's an oil light? My sticker says I don't need an oil change until I reach 35,000 miles, and I'm on 34,550. But hopefully, that's all it is. Thanks for your help in advance. :)

Okay...it's amber and I honestly have no idea what it's a picture of. I suppose it could be an engine, but I sure hope not. On the right side, near my gas gauge, when I start my car the word maintenance always lights up, but it goes away. The amber light that came on today on the way to work is a square-like object, and it shows on the left side.

Hi, Quite hard to answer, without knowing which warning light we're dealing with... What colour is the warning light - Amber, Red, Green? Is it a picture of a car engine? Can you describe the symbol to us? Await your response....

I suggest review your 2006 Toyota Corolla Owners Manual (page 5) for details about cluster and warning lights. You have the CE/LE, S, XRS models for the light location.

I am assuming that is the light of "service" only 450 for reaching the limit, and is one advise.

I really hope helped with this; remember rated this help. Good luck.

OK, I can see that this is a "reminder" light for Service Manteinance; in all models on the top right side show the Engine Oil replacement reminder.

Fore details, refer to "Service reminder indicator and warning buzzers", Section 1-6 Owners Manual.

    Good luck.

change fuel filter and stick an airline down the feed pipe to the filter to blow out the gauze filter in the tank ,remove the filler cap first though ,if none of this works remove the injector pump and take it to diesel specialist

Toyota corolla 2006 fuel door light switch

Ther is no fuel door light in a 06 Corolla.
What you see on the dashboard is an arrow to indicate fuel door is on the drivers side. Of course once you fill up the first time you know which side it is on. Very handy if you rent a corrolla.

Why don't you pull one fuse at a time

2006 Toyota Corolla, every morning there is squeaky sound when I start the car. Later, it goes away. It is for the past six months. Is it serpentine belt causing this sound, if so how I can loose...

The problem is the rear motor mount is filled with hydraulic fluid that leaks onto the accessory drive belt. The motor mounts fail prematurely and the fluid makes the belt squeak. Toyota dealership I took my 2006 Corolla to replaced the motor mount and belt free of charge.

2006 toyota corolla - I bought it used in September - didn't get an owners manual with it. A light came on this morning - it looks like a picture of a motor (I think) - is this a check engine light?

If the light was flashing when it came on, then it means your engine is misfiring.

A solid light can mean anything from a loose/faulty gas cap to a transmission issue.

This light comes on when the computer detects a fault of some sort in its diagnostic tests. If it keeps detecting this issue, the light will remain on. If the light turns off, then it has detected that the issue may no longer be present

In order to find out what the exact reason was for your light, You need to have your car computer scanned to retrieve the code that the computer would have stored when the light triggered. Most garages will do this free of charge. The code will tell you what may have caused the light to initially turn on.

2005 toyota corolla ce maint. required need to know how to reset.

To reset the system. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

Shifting hard

You probably have a DTC code of P-2716.

Toyota knows about this issue, and a new engine Control Module (ECM) has been developed to rectify this condition. If your car is under 96 months old, and has less than 80,000 miles, the ECM will be replaced FREE by your Toyota dealer. The replacement ECM corrects the shifting issue.
Mention Tech Service Bulletin "TC015-07" when you take it in for service. If you are beyond the time and mileage as listed above, I can give you the part number for the ECU, if you want to purchase one.
