Does anything at all work? Horns etc? Never assume that a batter is fully charged or for that matter, any good just because it is new. You will need to verify the charge state of the battery. A reasonably inexpensive load tester can be purchased from a variety of places for under $20. It is a tool you can use all your life. Assuming you do not have one, remove the battery and have it tested. Autozone performs this service free. TJ.

Windows, Locks, And speakers not working. No blown fuses

On some cars when you disconnect the battery for whatever reason certain electrical areas will not be restored to operation after the battery is reconnected. You need what they refer to as a radio code to restore radio and other circuits to operation. The code should be in car manual. If not contact the dealer for the radio code for your car.

I tried to start my car this morning. There was no electricity at all and i mean at all, The power locks won't even work nothing. The car won't start, it's perfectly silent when you turn

You would need to use a meter or test light to find out what exactly is dead. It could be a short in the fuse box, or a bad connection in the harness, or at the battery or starter.
You may need a repair book or shop manual to get the wiring diagrams.
If nothing on the truck works, you would start at the battery cables and work back to the key switch.

check the main boby feed wire. You might have a fuse or fuseable link in it . Or your new battery might be dead

We just put a new battery into our 1985 Chevy S10. Now none of the lights work and nothing in the cab works but it starts. What do you think could be the problem.

i would have to guess that you missed putting a wire on the battery or you have a broken wire that hooks to the battery.

My husband put a new battery on our 2002 toyota and reversed the cables accidently. now the car starts but none of the electrical works. what could the problem be ?

If you have electronic gages, it probably fried the gages. It most likely fried the starter and alternator as well. I would start by taking the alternator and starter to your local car parts place and have them tested. If the starter is fried, that may be why nothing else works, as all of your power goes thru the soelanoid. Circuit breakers may or may not blow from reverse polarity.

It is weird but i will check the main fuse or its called battery fuse under the hood by the battery or in fuse block (box)

Electrical

Please check the wiring of the car..try that after visual check under hood confirms no obvious failures like missing drive belt or disconnected electric wires...

Good luck........
