Before going any further you need to gather a little more evidence. Have the computer scanned for stored error codes. From what you describe your issues are intermittent and having the error code would significantly reduce the number of possibilities.
Just about everyone thinks that engine and and hydraulic oil differ from brand to brand. There is very little difference from brand to brand. Look up or have your parts supplier look up what type you should use and then buy the cheapest buy.
No manufacturer is going to put **** out and have to pay out for whatever liability.
