It's alongside the brake resorvoir, check the tops, it will tell you which is which, if the steering is heavy, top up the tank, start the car turn the steering wheel full lock left to right about 10 times and the system will bled itself.

Buick Regal supercharger 1998, while driving along the steering wheel tighten hard to turn, after pouring power steer fluid under the hood, the temperature light came on,the car ran hot, no smoke.

Do you mean the engine overheat warning? The power steering problem is most likely a defective steering rack, they always act up when hot due to internal seal leakage and fluid bypassing the seal.

Have 2001 buick regal that's making wninning noise when you crank up and also while driving

check the power steering fluid level first if it's low add. If it still does it have someone turn the wheel from full left to full right and see if it gets louder. If all of this does not change the sound then have your transmission checked out. Both of the pumps "whine" when they need attention.

My power steering absolutely drops off the face of the planet when I have to turn slowly. I bought STP power steering fluid, but I was wondering if it is a safe product to use for my 1996 Buick Regal with...

power steering fluid is usually transmission fluid, if you use a fluid that is too thin it can cause this problem, the power steering reservoir is under the hood.....hope this helps.....cheers.

2005 buick regal - where to put power steering fluid? Rubbing noise difficulty steering

You will find the power steering pump at the front of the engine, ( that is to say where the belts are ). It is a black plastic knob with a dip stick attached. Remove it, wipe it and reinsert it with the engine off. Remove it again and note the level on the level indicator on the stick. Use only GM fluids. If you still can't find it then think backwards..There are ony so many things that you can fill under the hood. Engin oil, Transmission fluid, Windshield washer fluid, brake fluid. If you find all of them pretty much the only on let is steering fluid.

Power Steering Fluid???

The power steering pump is located under the alternator near the firewall. It is hard to get to so you most likely need a funnel with a flex pipe to reach it without making a huge mess. I hope this is helpful.

Where is the power steering fluid unit found?

It is actually on the passengers side near the engine wall the pump and reservoir are made as one You will need a flash light follow the drive belt down past the alternator to the powersteering pump look for a black lid with a yellow steering wheel on top. The whole steering system takes only 3/4 quart of dextron automatic transmission fluid so do not over fill.
