The tire pressure monitor will go out automatically on a Lincoln MKZ in the following manner. If you determine and identify that you have low air pressure on any of your tires (including the spare), you simply re-inflate to the proper pressure. If this corrects the problem the air pressure sensors will reset after the car has been driven for 20 miles.. If this does not fix the problem, you have a faulty sensor...

2010 cobalt need 2 know how 2 reset low tire pressure monitor

The low tire pressure warning should go out if you set all of the tire pressures to the correct pressure, then drive the vehicle for about a mile. You should not have to "relearn" the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) unless the tires are (A.) rotated into different positions or (B.) There is a bad sensor that needs to be replaced.

For more information, you can read the information in your Owner's Manual. Here is a link to a pdf version 2009 Cobalt owners manual. (The information and procedures are the same for 2008 - 2010 Cobalts) The TPMS section starts on page 5-64

Light on dashboard looks like an exclamation point

It's the TPMS - Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

One or more of your tires has low pressure. Once you fill the tires to optimum pressure range, the system light should reset itself after a few miles.

Good Luck.

How do I reset the low tire pressure light ?????

Put the recommended air pressure in all five(spare) of your tires. That will shut the light off, if there is not a problem with the tire pressure monitoring system itself.

You're problem could likely be a problem with the TPMS, or (TirePressure Monitoring System) - sensor. There is one in each wheel, andit's recommended that with any tire changes that they be rebuilt orreplaced. I'm not sure if you've reset the tire pressure switch

Sometimes, to reset the tire pressure light you need to get the special tool.

Hope helped with this. Good luck.
