I'm wanting to buy roof bars for my Ford Focus (1.8 zetec climate 2007) but need to know if my car has fixed points or not. The roof has has small black plastic strips that can be removed to leave a small "indentation" in the roof - is that classed as a fixed point?

if engine is good and compression test pass, it may be good engine.
CAM TIMED CORRECT, COMPRESSION 150PSI UP, NOT 50.

then comes spark all 4 cylinders must have spark (tested)
so coil packs, not connected
or CKP OR CMP SENSORS UNPLUGGED OR WRECKED AT INSTALL. ALL ENGINE HARNESS CABLES MUST BE FULLY CONNECTED,.for sure parks, injectors and all sensor.s.

Absolutely no idea to be honest of the different specs for this car if in america then post a direct question to emmisionwiz as hes a ford dealer fitter and may have a good idea or he wil ask one of the salesman .

didnt know they made a ford focus in 1956 ,they still made the MK1 zeyphr and zodiac then the ford consul didnt come out till till 1957 ,so i assume its a modern focus and to change a mirror is a simple job just pull the triangular trim off the inside of the door at the back of the mirror and you will see three screws ,you should be able to unplug the multiplug without taking the door panel off undo the screws and the mirror come off .

You do not want to remove this rubber. There may not be custom designed roof bars to fit this model. If you really wanted to I guess you could use sheet metal screws to install brackets under the edges of the door sills.

check your coolant- if it is low, top it off. you could have an air bubble or the heater core could be clogged. if not the air mode door in the heater box might not be moving. that is the hardest and last to check
