Your ABS has a trouble code. Need to have code read with scanner. Common problem is the rear wheel speed sensor.

SOURCE: ABS LIGHT AND BRAKE LIGHT STAY ILLUMINATED

As far as the cruise control look under the battery, drivers side one if a diesel and there is a vacume line for the cruise. This vacume line always breaks right under the battery causing the cruise not to work.. Ive owned 2 2nd gen dodges with non working cruises and this was the problem on both.

I would still be suspect of the ABS module. Had the same thing happen on an 01 Tahoe.

Search the web for an ABS repair facility located in Russia, IA. They repair the module for $150.00 and give a 5 year warranty, which you can't get from the factory.
And, their website has troubleshooting guides to help you determine if for certain the module is bad or has a probelm.

You can remove the module and continue to drive the vehicle. Their turn around is as they state, and once I had them make the repiars, my Tahoe has been up and running great!

My dodge ram 1500 abs light is flashing what could cause it. changed the censore and still flashing. before i changed it the brake light and abs was on.

What size tires are you running? The ABS light usually blinks to tell you if the ABS is sensing a bigger tire than stock.

Where exactly is the abs sensor located on my 99 dodge 1500 4x4?

Normally your ABS sensors are on the wheel hubs.  Take the tire off and look for wires going up by your brakes.  That would be the ABS sensor.
