Fuse #9 in the passenger interior fuse panel keeps blowing when the key is turned on.

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

Number 9, passenger's side, is your ACC Socket (previously known as your cigarette lighter socket. If you've been using it, it may have gotten grounded in some fashion. I would take a careful look at the contacts.

88 toyota pick up v6 keeps blowing efi fuse

you may have a short of some kind, when a fuse blows repeatedly it is no good just replacing, you are being told that something is wrong with the equipment.
You will almost certainly have to visit a technician for a diagnosis. It is unlikely to be something that an inexperienced end user can sort out I am afraid.

GOOD LUCK

Can you pls tell me where the fuse box is

Fuses are located either in the engine compartment or passenger compartment fuse and relay panels. If a fuse blows, a single component or single circuit will not function properly. Excessive current draw is what causes a fuse to blow. Observing the condition of the fuse will provide insight as to what caused this to occur.

1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport The fuse that handles power for the instrument panel, radio, remote key, interior lights, ... blows from time to time. When I insert a new one the new one immediately blows as...

Not sure but I advised you before!!
Any way last time!
You have to t/s the moment the fuse blows and elimate the systems (short) connected to that fuse, for sample, dis connect the interior light, install fuse, if it blows than it is NOT the interior light, keep going till you find the short!
