My 94 camry 200si, has an erratic idle, which comes and goes anytime. iv had the fuel pump, fuel sensor, fuel filter, coil, checked and told they all working fine, however, the miss still persists. what would be a likely cause ? it would drive smoothly for an hour, and suddenly it starts missing, loss of power etc. would appreciate any advice.

This sounds like a fuel problem the engine is starved of fuel, check your fuel pump clean the filter in the pump, It could even be that you will need to replace the fuel pump. Cheers, Malcolm Campbell.
Might have partial fuel line blockage either in the injectors or fuel line. Test fuel pump too. Try Air flow sensor giving false information (check air filter).... I know... obvious but worth a look.

I have a 90 chevy k1500 350 tbi with same problem! I have traced problem to... after turning on key fuel pump kicks on when u crank it over injectors shoot gas and truck starts! After few seconds injectors stop spraying and truck dies! This can happen many times over and over! Eventually sometimes truck stays running and all is great! I changed ignition module, oil pressure sending unit (which i was told controls gas after vehicle is running) fuel filter, computer, fuel pump relay, I am at a loss now! Hope this helps and hope someone can help me!
