if you do not have any codes in the computer then clean the throttle body. A sticky throttle body can cause this problem. If you have any codes in the computer then please let me know to help you further.
Dodge 2000 Intrepid stalling on Traffic Light - This is caused by either wrong amount of Fuel or Air mixing in Idle condition. Please check fuel pressure at Idle which should be at least 38 psi and should go up when you press the accelerator. If fuel pressure is okay then Clean out the Throttle body carefully. This should solve the problem if no Check engine light is on. If Check engine light is on then please confirm and give me the codes present in On Board Diagnostic port (Auto Zone or Advance Auto will read the codes free for you) and we will go from there.
idle is not adjustable pcm decide the idle rpm by iac valve try to clean trottle body plate and iac hole with combustion chamber cleaner and pour the rest at the trottle body engine idle enough not to stall engine
it sounds like a idle control valve if you keep your foot on the gas alittle does it stay runningif so does it sound normal if so it probably your idle control valve and to should be on the back of your trottle body also try cleanind the inside of your trottle body with a lint free rag and some trottle body cleaner make sure you open the butterfly and get all that carben out of there sometimes the carben build up will also cause a big drop in rpm.
