2003 Accura RSX-S Driver door lock wont lock with remote. how to replace the lock and dirver door window to remove and reinstall

Check fuse and/or relay to see if blown/non-functioning. Should be labeled door lock or dr lock.

yes?, try new battery in remote.
always have at least 2 remotes.

The tentioner should keep the belt at the right tention. Are you sure its the belt? I had some squeaking in my 05' RSX and replaced the Tentioner Pulley and the squeaking went away. Maybe this could be the same case. Hope this helps.

I don't Have a manual for this. But in most cases with A serpentine belt the belt trencher is automatic and could be Warren out other then that look see if a pulley bearing could be getting bad .it is also possible you got a defective belt Hope this helps.

if it blows as you press the remote, it must be one of the lock actuators.
If it does it only when you unlock the dirver's door, that would be the actuator to replace. It probably is shorted internally.

Replace the dirver's door master control switch assy.

I"m having trouble with locking and unlocking my hatch using my remote. I have flipped the white switch in the trunk and it acts as a child safety lock if flipped one direction. However I am not able to open the trunk this way. It acts as a permanent lock. So I figure the switch must be flipped the other direction and need to replace my actuator. Is this hard to do. It looks to me like it two switches holding a bracket to hold the actuator itself after plugging in the actuator from both sides. Is it really this simple?? Is there more to it???

replace the actuator. wouldnt recommend doing this yourself as it requires you to tear apart the door. the dealership will do it for around 150
