Why does the change oil light soon keep coming on.

It comes on when the computer recognizes that you need a oil change. In older models, they tend to come on for no reason. If the oil is good and you know it doesn't need changed, don't worry about it. A oil changed is recommended at 3000 miles, but I have always went 5000. You car has a sensor that recognizes the oil command. You might be able to get rid of it by taking off the hot side post of the battery. If your not worried and you know the oil is ok, I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure the cap is on tight though. If you have anymore questions, please let me know. I am here to help. Car won't start after changing battery

Sounds like your theft system. You can reset it by leaving the key in the on postion for 15-20 minutes. IF this doesn't work, you may need to visit the dealership.
