All of the door locks but one on our 1999 GMC Suburban will not lock or unlock when using either the remote or the door lock switch. Is there a relay that accuates the locks?

there is a relay but if it were bad none of your locks would work. your problem is the door lock motor it is a little electric motor that actuates the lock. its also called a door lock actuator. kind of expensive and a little difficult to replace.

Yukon xl rear door won't unlock and there is no manual lock.

I fixed mine by using fine steel wool to clean the brass contacts located at the right upper door frame on the right door as viewed from the rear of the vechicle.
