There is some cause for concern - while the engine light is on the management system is switched off and it is running on the get-you-home programme that is likely to shorten the life of the catalytic converter and oxygen sensor.
I would guess you refitted all the 3zz electronics to the 1zz-fe engine. There appears to be significant differences in specification between the two engines and it would have been an unwise conversion without either fitting the 1zz management system or having the 3zz management system remapped by an expert.
Engine warning lights are programmed to go on at service intervals usually, they cannot tell that your engine is okay, they are switched of by a mechanic/technician after a service has been completed. Whilst your engine may be running fine it is wise to have a service carried out, it will increase the longevity of the engine. when cars are built the service intervals are set at
mileages known to be key to maintaining the unit in top condition, preventing a fast mechanical decline. I cannot exaggerate the importance of regular servicing irrespective of how well a vehicle is running. It is why regularly serviced vehicles are worth so much more than others of a similar age/mileage.
The sensors on new cars come on for no reason most of the time. It is a common problem with any new car. Take your car to your local friendly Auto Zone or the equivalent thereof. Have them run the codes and reset it. This will turn the light off. If it returns, take it to the dealer and have the sensor replaced

When the service engine soon/check engine light comes on you in most cases will not feel the engine run any different except in the case of a misfire or a large vacuum leak. What must be done now is to have the engine control module scanned to see what fault code is stored, when ever the light comes on a code is set in memory.
Check engine light comes on for fault codes stored, when there is an error/failure/fault within the engine management system. These codes refer to engine management, and not maintenance intervals or reminders. Bring your vehicle to a local autozone and have it scanned for the codes. Post those codes on fixya.com to receive additional help!!hopefully this helpd!!
