95 Ford Crown Victoria. Battery light came on. Bought a new battery. After driving for awhile battery light cuts on and off. Radio, heater, and lights keep cuting on and off. When I step on the gas after sitting at a red light, the lights come back on then cut off. My car has not cut off yet. Is this wiring, alternator, or something else?

Easiest check is to put a voltmeter on the battery posts. Should be 14 volts or over with engine running. If not alternator may have 1 or more bad diodes.

Also, clean all the battery connections, incluidng small wires on poitive post, if present.

Testimonial: "great thank you "

Try checking interior lights,boot/bonnet lamps radio it seem's like something is draining battery supply only a small draw will nacker the battery.

I have ford crown victoria 1999 model, battery light goes on and off while driving and also today morning my car did not start

most likely not charging. Put a volt meter accross the batery when car is running. Should read at least 13.5 to 14.5 volts. If lower its not charging . Check for poor connection at battery connections .

I have a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria. Battery light came on a couple days ago. Got a new battery. Battery light comes on then goes off. After driving awhile radio, heater, and lights cut off and on. I notice...

From the sound of things it sounds like a combination of things, check and make sure that your battery clamps are tight. Is the battery holding its charge? If it is then the alternator is not the problem. It sounds like loose wiring shorting out somewhere. i would have it checked by an auto electrician. I hope this helps.
