My 1997 SC1 Saturn is not starting/turning over

My 1997 SC1 Saturn was not starting or turning over at all. I replaced the battery and it was fine. It's been about three weeks and now it won't start or turn over again. What do you think the problem is?

Well the problem you have is called a feed back ?
What it is the battery you fitted as the same as the one you took out nodoubt was also good but the electrics have a leak is some where like the Alternator or lights ie roof /dash etc so what you need to do is charge the battery up to 12Volts and take off the Black earth wire from the battery, now just touch it back on (very lightly) and you will see a small spark Thats you leak so start of with removing the Red wire to the Alternator (or the feed lead or the thick lead )going to Alt and put it on a bit of rag and not onto any thing metal and try the short test again ,if still there then put back the Alt lead and then test the inside lights and so on till you donot have a spark at all.
OR get a globe solder 2 wires to it 1on to casing,1 on to centre pole and fit 1end to battery lead and the other to the battery post and when the light goes out YOU have found your leak..EASY isent it
Have a goodday
Let me know how you get on IM always here. RON

Very probably a bad charging system. You might need a new altenator.

1997 SC1 wouldn't start the other morning. It wasn't getting sparks to the plugs. Its battery is good and heard the fuel pump humming. thought it was the ignition coil they were bad replaced t

Ok what you are going to have to do is called a wiggle test have someone cranking while you wiggle all the wires at the module and everywhere till it starts or tries to start and when you notice a condition for the better examine that area very well for (ANY) type of wire problems. Please rate my solution and give testimonial this is how i earn my achievements Thanks in advance

97 SATURN SC1, WONT GO INTO REVERSE AND GOES VERY SLOW

Transmission is not junk. You need to replace the valve body with a rebuilt one. The cause of reverse not working is because the booster valve cannot create sufficient pressure to get into reverse (reverse requires the most pressure). The booster valve is worn down and the valve body needs to be replaced, rebuilt is the way to go. This is from not changing the fluid and filter every 20,000 -- 30,000 miles to keep gunk from building up and wearing down the valve.

The transmission is fine, don't let anyone talk you into putting another one in, especially for thousands of dollars, NOT THE PROBLEM.

I have a 2001 saturn sc1...i was driving stopped filled gas. and when i went to start again, i got a clicking noise...i tried getting a boost...but battery is fine...radio works everything is good...i...

Your radio and most of your accessories will still work with a low charged battery. The clicking sound you are experiencing is most likely from a low charged battery not giving enough amperage to the starter. Were you able to start the car after getting a boost? If so, then it is your battery. Does your car cut out while driving? If so, then it is your alternator (device that charges your battery while the car is running). It is either the battery or alternator.

93 Saturn wont start, battery, lights, all good

There's a relay that's under the dash. keep turning the key until you find what's clicking then replace that relay, the car should start.

You either have a bad engine coolant temp sensor & connector.Located under upper radiator hose at cylinder head Yellow & black wire.Original sensor is ceramic & replacement will be brass from saturn. Also you may check for vacuum leaks at PCV hose & valve.Hope this helps
