    1.8 turbo

It is a 1.8 Turbo but not like the engine you just showed me. We were also told it was between the firewall and the engine but it isn't there either.

Heating problem

I doubt it.
The sensor is for the computer and the temp gauge on the dash.
If the heater hoses are getting hot, and the radiator is full of coolant, you may have a blend door problem.
The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

2004 vw passat check engine light .

This car has 2 separate temp sensors, 1 for the computer and 1for the gauge, you need to be sure the engine is not overheating first, but most likely it's a bad coolant temp sensor causing a false reading..

VW passat coolant warning light on

There's a level sensor plugged into the bottom of the coolant reservoir. Unplug it and clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner. If that doesn't do the trick, replace the sensor.

2003 vw passat senstive abs

This is caused by excessive ABS sensor air gap. You might need to adjust the air gap on the speed sensor to the new cv shaft.
