I require the fuse list that goes with E39 BMW 1999, the tab inside the glove box is missing so have no idea what fuse goes with what or the ratings.

I've got a 528i, and 318i,needed the same info. Of course they're not the same but I got the info via a google search. To get the right answer you MUST ask the right question. In this case, google key words: "fuse box location and layout in a BMW 5 series" it will then give you thousands of choices, usually in the first page or two, you will get your answer

Fuse location

The fuse box is located in the glove box. You can get to it by flipping two white tabs on the top of the inside of the glove box 90 degrees, then pull it down. The cigarette lighter is fuse 47. Here is a link to the fuse box schematic.

The a/c fan will not come on in either the a/c or Heater mode to circulate air. I've looked at the fuses in both the Glove box and the trunk area and cannot find the fuse location for the blower fan? Any...

The problem is not with the failed fan from a broken fuse, rather it is a problem in the electric motor fan because it is a very common problem with BMW E39, but E46 and E53! Switching the fan is completely controlled by signals from the motor and the computer is powered pres thick wires and securing them directly 70A fuse in the engine compartment in electrical box.

2001 530i e39 ac won't come on was working last time i was in the

hello euroterry, there should be a fuse listing chart on the iside of the right access cover in the trunk. if I remember correctly the fuse 54 -56 are in the middle of that group of numberd fuses. if there is no label present on the trim cover, you should find the numbers stamped on the fuse strip(numbers are very small, you'll need a flashlight to see them.)

Fuse box

you actually have a few different fuse locations. the main fuse box is located inside the glove box. open the glove box and look up. you should see 2 white tabs. twist them either clockwise or counter clockwise 1/4 turn.the panel should then be exposed. a sheet with the fuses and descriptions should be there to.
