I have a r reg megane scenic when i start it up the gear box is very noisy when i put my foot on the clutch and put it in gear the noise stops

Get a second opion, but it looks like the thrust bearing is on its way out. That'll probably involve changing the clutch as well. Do it soon or you'll wreck the gearbox.

My Renault Megane Scenic S reg heater is not working

Most likely to be a faulty resistor block, which has 3 resistors and a thermal fuse controlling fan speeds 1,2 and 3, maximum speed 4 by-passes the resister block. It may also be poor electrical connections to the resistor block caused by overheating. Renault ask for approximately £350 to carry out repairs, a replacement resistor block will cost £50. If you decide to carry out the repairs yourself, be advised that if you are not competent to carry out such work you, could cause electrical damage or worse an electrical fire.

Hi im changing my clutch on my renault 1600cc 16v megane scenic t reg but it looks trickey do i have to remove the engine or drop the hole front end down to get the gear box out the way to change the...

It is a fiddle but drop the l/h side of the subframe down, pull the shafts, jack the engine a bit and seperate the box and you can just unbolt the cover plate, slide it back and lift out the centre plate, then the cover plate comes out, you have to align the new ones by feeling the alignment in the 3 gaps round the edge, fiddly but save a heap of time

Inner door panel removal, renault megane scenic

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls
