2005 Chevy Impala driver's side heat blows cold, but works on passenger side. Was told a vent is probably not opening to allow for the heat to get to the driver's side? Where can I locate this vent?

have someone check the driver's side temperature control doors, in behind the radio. there are two push rods attached to a plastic piece. the connector on one or both of these push rods, become unattached. leaving you with cold air. once that temperature door is closed you get hot air. passenger side still mixes, but not drivers. All or none for heat on Driver's side

please check the fuses AC/cruise and AC/fan Located in the fuse panel on the drivers side end of dash

sounds like you have a bad actuator motor that make temp go hot to cold

I have the same issue with my 2005 chevrolet impala. I took it to the shop and its the dual module control out on the driver side which will cost anywhere from $300.00 to $500.00 to get fixed.

Do you have separate drivers side and passenger heat controls?
If you do have this system,the common problem is the control unit s on the heater/a/c assembly. Can you adjust heat and cooling on one side?
Then the other side control unit is most likely bad.

GM Yuck! I'm surprised you haven't had a bad anti-theft system yet!

No heat is due to a bad heater core. Or the flap that directs the air inside the venting gets stuck in one position and you have to tear apart the whole dang thing to get to it.
