1. Start the car and leave it idle.
2. Hold the window button down all the way, until the window is completely down.
3. Let go and push it down again and hold the window button for 2 to 3 seconds then let go. (You should be able to hear or feel (very faintly) the motor/sensor reset.)
4. Pull up on the window button and roll the window up until it is all the way up, when it is up let go.
5. Pull the button up again for 2 to 3 seconds. (You should be able to hear or feel (very faintly) the motor/sensor reset.)

First, I would check the fuse: passenger's side fuse box (passenger's side, kick panel), fuse number 1 (20a), for the driver's power window.

Drivers side window stopped working, pass side works then quits, and when it quits the windshield wipers quit also.

What make , model an year vehicle ? Not all manufactures do it the same . Could have relays , modules that control these things .

I have a 2001 jeep cherokee sport. at first the passenger windows only work from drivers side. was having trouble with the drivers side which worked so often. drivers window would go up and would not...

One Problem.
All Of The Window Controls Are Controlled By The Master Switch, Which Is The Drivers Window/Door Lock Control Assembly In The Door. Sometimes A Removal Of The Control Assembly And A Through Cleaning Can Bring It Back To Life. More Specifically The Window Lock Button. This Is Why The Other Windows Have Stopped Working At The Door But The Drivers Control Still Operated All The Doors Just Fine. Next To Go Bad Is The Auto Down Function. basically The Inner workings Of The Switches Are Gunked Up. Take the Driver Side Door Panel Off, Remove The Door Lock Assembly From The Panel. It Can Come Apart, But It's A Three Hands Kind Of Thing. The Buttons Pry Off, But Be Careful They Will Fly Across The Room. Once You Open The assembly wipe Everything Down With Some Cleaner, I Used A rag And carb Cleaner. I Did This And It Worked For A Couple Of Months. It Was Much Easier To Order A New One From Rock Auto.Com, It's Plug In Easy. 1.5 Hours If You've Never Taken The Door Panel Off Just Because You Have To Be Patient. My Replacement Been Working Great For 2+ Years. Cost ~ $60.

Power window

Sounds like a passenger switch malfunction.

Driver side window not going up or down

It is most likely a wire that became disconnected at the switch, if neither windows work, it is likely a fuse.
