when you remove the old oil filter. insure the old filter seal came off with the filter. then when installing the new filter wet the new seal of the filter with a little oil. just dip your finger into new oil and smear it on the seal.

Make sure the old filter gasket is not stuck on the filter housing. sometimes the old filter gasket comes off the old filter and when you put on the new one it will leak.
