Signal light won't work on a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee v8

The direction indicators are unlikely to work correctly until the hazard light switch functions correctly - the hazard switch is usually wired so when operated it has cut the direction indicator wiring and connected itself to the lamps rendering the direction indicator switch redundant.

Lots of cars suffer indicator problems when the hazard switch is rarely used. Often a few minutes vigorously operating the hazard switch restores operation but if the switch is broken it must first be replaced.

I SEE THAT THERE IS A TURN SIGNAL FLASHER AND A HAZARD FLASHER DO THEY BOTH GO BAD AT THE SAME TIME???

Usually not. Both are on separate circuits. Directionals are only on when the key is in the on position, Hazards are on (hot) all the time. If I remember correctly, they both share a common junction though as they pass through the directional switch in the top of the steering column. You will need to do some testing: fuses, and wiring to trace power. Also check power at the flasher sockets. If you just bought it, be aware that a common "on the road fix" for a bad directional flasher is to swap it with the one for the hazards. In that case, when the directional flasher that was swapped fails, both would in fact test as bad.

Breaklights do not work nor do hazards all fuses ok,switch is also good..blinkers work fine.. stumpt

The hazard flasher is a separate flasher by itself for the directional has its own. The brake lights work off the brake light switch mounted by the brake pedal

1993 Geo Prizm turn signals dont work. Hazard lights DO work. Checked fuse several times & its ok. Any suggestions?

You have a bad turn signal switch if the hazards work and the turn signals do not. It has nothing to do with the fuse or the flasher unit. Your switch is bad or you have a bad connection some where.

Turn signal relay buzz

Relays buzz when they are not getting enough power either due to a power wire with a high resistance in it or a ground with the same problem, check the harness manually to see if you can find a loose or corroded conecter or ground point.
