My radio is locked i just need the code for a monte carlo 97 GM delco radio

I need to unlock a radio that I got from a gm vehicle to my chevy venture!

If the code is not at the back of your manual, try 0000 and if the radio locked it self from taking any more codes. Just disconnect the battery and that will reset the radio so you can re-enter the code. If 0000 did not work then log on to Radio-code.com, you can get your cod there for like $12.00 which is cheaper then the dealer and you get to know the codes as most dealer will just unlock the radio. Do you have the manual for the radio?? sometimes there is the code in there! if not a garage can assist for a nominal fee! usually about £20.
