on four cylinders and inline sixes the gap is .035 as reccomended. but if the plugs are platinim, do not try to reset for they are set at factory. have a good day !!
check your water pump with the cap off and the engine cold. Sometimes pressure can keep a bad seal against the pump shaft and actually stop it from leaking. If you have a six cylinder engine, they have a casting (micro-crack) problem in the cylinder head that can also cause an almost undetectable and hard to find leak. I'll look up the casting # and post it later.(if can find it)
The timing is determined by the Power Control Module (computer) by reading the crankshaft position sensor. There is no adjustment possible. The only service possible is replacing individual components.
