Service theft system light on, vehicle starts but key is stuck in the ignition

Since you didn't say what vehicle here is my general thought. Thus sounds like a failing lock cylinder not releasing the key. You can try squirting some graphite into it ( or spray lube..although graphite is better especially long term)

My 2000 ml 320 Mercedes battery die and now my radio need a code to work

You need to get the security code directly from the Mercedes dealership; you'll have to prove vehicle ownership...radio theft is quite prevalent...and the mere fact that it is called a security code is to deter such thefts; and to disclose it publicly would defeat the very purpose of having a security code.

When I get inside and try to start the car it won't start and the theft light on the dashbord just keeps blinking.

I don't know what type vehicle you have but it sounds like you theft deterent module is activated. Look in your owners manual and it should tell you the procedures for deactivating the theft deterent module. Last one I deactavated was a 2001 GMC, key "ON" key "OFF" key "ON" key "OFF" key "ON" and let sit for 20 minutes, then try to start the engine. Good luck, Gary

Need code for radio anti-theft system.for a 2001 chevy silverado

You would need to go to a Chevy dealer to have to codes burned in to the vehicles computer. The reason why GM had done this was to deter theft of radios from their vehicles. The radio must have the VIN (vehicle identification number) burned into the chip to match the VIN on your vehicle so it will play

Who has an acura cl 3.2 radio code?

Hi:
The radio code is vehicle specific, and is there to deter theft. If you have the VIN number of the vehicle the radio came out of, the dealer service department can usually give you the code.

I have a 99 grand am I just bought and the security light stays on all the time, what should I do

There is a problem in the security/theft deterent system. If purchased at a dealer/ car lot, they should assist you with the repair. If you purchased the vehicle from a private party, then I would have it check out. You may have issues starting the vehicle.

2005 hyundai elantra

The Radio is a True Statement. It will need a Lockout Code installed to bypass the Theft Deterent. On the Remote, The light will still flash But, It could still need a Battery anyway if the Battery has just enough Power to Turn the Light on and not Enough to send the Code to the Vehicle to Perform the Desired Actions.
