I put a new/used powersteering pump in my 1996 honda civic si i did what the manuel said to do and it works for abit 10 mins after its running and then it starts grinding and making a weird noise as if the belt is hitting somthing almost as if there is air in the power steering line can anyone help me fix this problem thanks

You need to bleed the power steering line, with the car on turn the steering wheel to the left and to the right, back and forth ,this will clear the air, 4 to 5 times of turning should be ok ,then add power steering fluid,if needed,do not over fill,do not over fill

NEED TIPS ON INSTALLING A NEW WATERPUMP ON 2007 HONDA CIVIC SI

the water pump runs off of the timing belt. if you have replace a timing belt before on it you can change the water pump once you get the timing belt off. if you havn't changed a timing belt before better to take to a shop as they will have all the right tools to do the job. hope this helps mike
