There are 3 Fuse panels in a 1.5 Almera : 2 are located in the engine bay beside LH+RH Main Lights,and both are Engine related,
The other is located below LH dashboard, once pulled a Grey Pocket.t(1.6 does no longer exist since 2000, by least in Europe)
Why is it you guys are not letting us know your names lately? Have you checked the bulbs and fuses? What type of lighting system is fitted? Do you have Halogen or HID? John
Check the brake light function. If the lights work then replace the shift lock solenoid. If they don't work then replace the brake light switch and retry.
I needed my headlight bulb changed. The repair shop quoted $125. Their repair manual said the front bumper had to be removed to access the light. But they found a work-around: by removing the battery, they were able to get at the light and replace the bulb. Only cost me $46 to replace my $5 bulb!
Have you taken your Altima to a dealership in a while? There was a recall on the 05 Altima for misalligned headlights...thus resulting in poor lighting quality...this could be the reason as well...
