Believe it or not I had the same issue with the right brake light, my brother said it was something to do with the bulbs in the 2006, I replaced all the bulbs on that side and have not had the problem since

Hi, I have the same issue with my 06 GT. other lights have done the same thing. of course the dealership says if they cant duplicate the problem, they cant do anything. I did talk to another mechanic at a "good" shop and he said it sounded like the BCM module ( body control module). I may put a new one in and see if that fixes it.

Need to change right tail light, how?

Open hatch, on inside there will be two plastic clips that go into the side of the tail light, remove the center of the plastic clips, they will pop out, remove the rest of the remaining clip, once you have the plastic clips out, tail light will come off, no screw's holding tail light, just those two plastic clips.

No dash & tail lights

if your tail light's don't work it would be a stop switch it's right under the brake pedal.

Only one tail light (on the right side) lights up

Check fuses at dash panel as well as any under hood in power distribution box, they all may be separate.

How do I get the trunk panel off to get to the tail light?

Each of the tail light bulbs is sitting on a connector (ussually gray or black) that when you twist it clockwise it comes out. You do not have to take off the plastic panel.

Tail lights stay on

There is a switch that should shut these off when the front door is opened. Have the dealer fix under warranty.
